slightly relevant

Kim and I finally hit up Geopalooza today, and it was pretty cool! The geodes were definitely the best part, although they had a lot of fossils, too. I would have liked to have seen more rocks, though, overall. There was a pretty neat room with tons of rocks and minerals under ultraviolet lighting. It’s fun to see how they glow different colors, but there were no signs telling us what the rocks were in that room.

Someday we’re going to go to Brazil and go on our own geology adventure. I have GOT to get one to those giant geodes! zomg!

They had a geode cracking place set up at the end of the exhibit. You could choose a geode and have them crack it open for you. I got one, of course! It’s pretty awesome.

Folks… I have a confession. I’m addicted. I am completely obsessed with COLOURlovers. It’s funny, I’ve known about the site, and used it often, for several years. But I only became a member last week. And now I can’t stop. I can’t stop! I’m in love (no pun intended)!

And now I will share with you some of my favorites among the palettes and patterns I have created thus far.

My sister and I are making some more Harry Potter themed t-shirts. This is my favorite one. Luscious Lucius likes lollipops. 8)
